 Topic is adjective smart, essential.

First story is two persons are talking about visiting Kyoto.

 

a I would like to go to Kyoto to see the autumn leaves this weekend. But I've never been there.Do you have any recommendations?

b Well, the autumn leaves are absolutely glorious at the moment. However Kyoto will be very crowded on the weekend.

a Really? I hate crowds.

b In that case, I suggest you should go to popular places in the early morning.

a That' a good idea. You are so smart. Thanks for your helpful advice.

b No problem!  Have fun!

smart means 

such adjective as smart are clever wise bright intelligent.

smart means stylish

She is a really smart leader and makes

 each menber feel special.

clever, bright mean quick to understand,quick.witted.

wise means having experience knowledge good judgement.

Now that I'm older and wiser, I never rush into any decision.

intelligent means having intelligence  especially of a high level.

professor Peacock is the most intelligent reseacher I've ever known. 

 

Next adjective is essential.

 

story is Two colleagues are talking about the welcome party for one's new member..

 

a I heard your sales team has a new member?

b Yes, A guy, named Andy. He is really nice and easy to work with.

a Have you already held a welcome party for him?

b Actually, I'm in the middle of planning one.

I was thinking of going to the sushi restaurant in the Hotel New Oonishi.

a Excellent idea. But that restaurant is very popular, so advanced booking is essential.

b I see. In that case, I'd better make a reservation as soon as impossible.

key sentence is advanced booking is essential.

such adjective as important  are essential, vital, key, crucial.

essential,key mean fundamental.

Lots of fruit and vegetables are a essential for healthy living. 

Decision-making is a key skill all leader need.

vital means indispensable to the continueance of life, of crucial importance, decisive.

Your presence is vital for the survival of this company.

cruicial means decisive.

Coaches play a crucial role in the development of athletes.
