Today’s speech is a talk from ラジオ英会話.

First stoty is Doug apologizes to Shiho.
a Shiho, I want to apologize.

After dental treatment for my granddaughter by family dentist,  I took her to ”KODOMO NO KUNI” as a reward for hard work.

It's my first time to go there.  No offense, but  it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere except this great and vast amusementpark because it took hours to get there by car.  It was  really cold today.  But I could see her reliableness in a new light  a little on seeing her brave figure.

Q2  What was he doing while he had accident?

A2  He was talking on his cell phone.

Topic is script to criticize inconsistency between saying  and action, the deviation from the figure which there should be, corect the angry tone of voice, soften the critical attitude.

First story is a couple are talking about one's secret.

a  Doug, do you have a minute?

b Sure, what's wrong?

a  I'm a little confused. Everybody seems to know I got accepted into Columbia University.

b Do they?

a Yes, and I didn't tell anybody about it , except you.

You promised you wouldn't tell anybody, but  you could't keep your mouth.

I can't believe you did that.

b Shiho, they figured it out by themselves. Anyway Why do you have to keep it a cecret?

a I have my reasons.

She criticizes his inconsistency between saying and action.

Actions speak louder than words. Just do it.

 

Second story is Two colleagues are talking about one's bad behavoir.

a Yes, why did you blow your top at the marketing manager?  It's not like you at all.

b Donald said my sales plan was unrealistic.

a He's said that to you before. I guess you were in a bad mood.

b Well, to be honest, I haven't had much sleep lately.

a Hey, let's go out for a beer tonight. It's Friday night.

She corrects his bad tone of voice.

Watch your mouth! We don't use such bad language in my house.

Don't use that tone of voice with me if you want us to remain friends.

You should pay more attention to your tone of voice. That will really help you communicate more effectively.

 

Last story is two colleagues are talking about one's lost phone.

 

a Kana, have you seen a smartphone lying around somewhere?

b Did you lose yours?

a No, I can't find it.

b Just, try to remember the last time you you used it.

a It's in the shut pocket, but it disappeared.

My entire life is in the phone. What shall I do?

b No offense, but don't you think you are overreacting? Wait. I saw you bowing over there.

She softens her critical attitude.

かなり重い内容ですが、現在の経済社会を如実に表現していると思います。
国は経済成長を目指し、現実に資本家、富裕層の儲けた分を国民へ再配分を行う。制度や法律で解決するより国民の社会規範の醸成に任せる。そのようなことを言っていたと思います。

経済成長をするための構造改革の主力は今大きく変わっている。社会の資本構造が株、不動産などの有形資本からIT技術、知識、教育・人的資源などの無形資本へと形が変わっていく。我々も意識改革が必要ということです。
トランプはグローバル化の危険性を気づかせてくれた。自由貿易保護主義の対立が中国・アメリカ激しくなる中、サービス業を展開する傍ら日本は国策上、農業、工業は守っていかなければならないのです。
将来へのモチベーションは成長資本主義です。
ジョナサン・ハスケル経済学者は
技術革新の波を以下に記します。

新分野で何もしなければの格差拡大社会につながっていってしまう。
IT成功者だけがすべての果実を受けるのか。しかし成功する過程には多くの雇用者の協力が関わっている。配分について国としての価値観をどう置くか。市場と国家の間で人々を繋ぐ精神が必要となる。経済成長しながら社会協調していく。それは法律や規制で抑えることができない、市民社会の中で人が人に行動変容を促す社会規範が大前提となって成し遂げられる。

ロバートシラー イエール大学経済学者は
ケインズの「平和の経済的帰結」を引用し未来へ警鐘する。
第一次大戦ケインズは連合国がドイツを罰することを懸念した。そんなことをすればドイツの人々の中に怒りと不平感を巻き起こす。ドイツ人も犠牲者で悪人として責めるべきでない。苦難に陥った人々残された組織をも覆し個人の打ち勝ち難い欲求を必死に満足させようとするうち文明を埋没させてしまうおそれがある。我々の資源と勇気と理想主義とを協調させてその防止に努めなければならない危機なのである。自己の環境に慣れてしまう能力、それが人間の顕著な特徴である。人々の信頼や責任の重要性を本当にケインズは伝えたかったのである。連合国はこれに耳を傾けず、ドイツはファシズムへと進む。

公共資本主義 その2

「公共資本主義 その1」の記事に挙げられているハーバード大のセラフェイム教授の日本経済新聞へ寄稿の経済教室の記事を見つけました。

言葉の使い方としてステークホルダーにずれがありますが、この記事ではステークホルダーが株主(stockholder)に対立する勢力とし、原氏の記事でいう社中としています。また、アメリカが株主資本主義から公共資本主義に変更しバランスを保つ重要性を説いています。興味を引くのは環境、社会、企業統治(ESG)を自社ひいては自社の属する産業にとって戦略に重要と位置づけ、取り組みを改善した企業が株価が上昇し将来の収益性も向上していると調査です。今後ESGは重要でガバナンス(企業統治)、イノベーション(技術革新)、成長ペース、投資判断にも大いに必要となるといいます。

また、経済成長のインセンティブ(誘因)となる企業・投資家の投資行動にかかわることで共感することがあります。先日のBS NHKの「欲望の資本主義2021」にも触れられていたことですが、現在では企業価値の多くが有形資産より無形資産に由来することなっている。こうした中で人的資本、自然資本、社会関係資本に関わるESG関連情報を今後、投資家が重要視していくだろうということです。
リチャード・クーの「追われる国の経済学」にもあったが、1980年代初めからロナルド・レーガンが徹底的な減税や規制緩和を行った。所謂、サプライサイドのマクロ経済政策「レーガノミクス」である。サプライサイドでは減税分を株主に配当として上乗せはせず、この上乗せ分は米各国内における人的資本などの資源配分を効率的にして資本収益率を高めるのに大いに貢献したと思われる。多くの資金や優れた人材を将来性のあるハイテク分野に投入できたことで、アメリカ経済は新たな成長エンジンを獲得でき、日本との競争を有利に進めた。このようにマクロ政策を成功させるには会社側でのミクロ経済戦略が必要であることは言うまでもない。

公共資本主義 その1

友人よりJR東海のウエッジという月刊誌に掲載された原丈人氏の公益資本主義についての記事を紹介されました。

日本は1997年ビジネスラウンジテーブルにより株式第一主義が唱えられ、2014年伊藤邦雄氏、竹中平蔵氏らのプロジェクト等が進められ、2014年経済産業省コーポレートガバナンス改革に至って、米国を模範した株式資本主義が全面化し、株主の優遇化が図られた。2010年~2019年の法人の純利益の伸び222.9%、配当の伸び222.5%、従業員報酬の伸び4%と日本は株式資本主義がの方向に舵がきられており、経済格差の拡大があらわになっている。原氏は「会社は株主のものでなく、会社を成功に導くために協力する仲間である顧客、従業員(社員・経営陣)などの社中のもの」という認識のもと格差社会を批判し公益資本主義を唱え活動されている。アメリカでは株式資本主義の本家であった。2019年以前、GE,HP,Xrox,Duponなど大企業などはアクティビスト、ヘッジファンドの餌食になり大打撃をうけていた。原氏は2019年3月ハーバード大、MITで講義をし、公益資本主義を唱えた。2019年8月アメリカ主要企業のCEOが集まりビジネスラウンドテーブルが開催されが、公益資本主義が紹介された。2020年1月には世界的にもダボス会議でも公益資本主義の社中分配図が公表された。2020年9月、原氏 危機管理会社法制会議議長に就任。
