Today`s speech is a talk about Radio Eikaiwa.

(1)Emori san asks Cyndy to marry her.
a Emori-san, are you asking me to marry you?
b Yes, Cyndy. That`s why I`m on one knee holding this box with a diamond ring.
a Wow, listen.. I like you as a friend.
Unfortunately, I can`t marry you. I `m sorry.
I see. Obviously,  I `m disappointed with your answer. I thought you might have deeper feelings for me.
b You are a great guy. I just never thought of you as a marriage partner.
a I understand. Oh, well. Lukkily,  I can get a refund for this ring.

Happily, clearly, we were the first arrive.
Unfortunately, the deadline has already passed.
We can`t accept late applications.
Obviously our new strategy is working. Sales are up over 50% this year.We got hopelessly lost  while walking around. Thankfully, a local man gave us directions.

(2)An astronaut, Anton Kerr and Mrs.Gregory are talking about a time capsule.
a Mr.Kerr. I heard about your unusual proposal.
b Do you mean my time capsule idea?
a Yes. Frankly, I have never heard of such a thing. Can you exlpain a bit more?
b Certainly, Mrs.Gregory. A time capsule is simply a container with things from our lives.
But, we bury it in the ground.
a And what`s the purpose of that?
b To forget about it. Then, many years later,
somebody will find it.
a So, they will remember us in the future.
b Exactly.
key sentence frankly, I have heard of such a thing.
Honestly, Seriously, Personally, I think you should lose some weight.
To tell the truth, to put it mildly, I don`t think it`s a good idea.
As far as I know, in my opinion, according to the chef, it`s best to use real butter.
Frankly, I`m not really interested. Abstract art just isn`t my thing.
To put it mildly, we were disappointed.  Nothing worked out as planned.
As far as I know, no one has ever scored this high. I think you just set a new record.

(3)A Couple, Doug and Shiho are talking about their eco-tour business.
a Hey. Doug, can you turn off the TV. I don`t watch TV during meals.
b Sure, I wasn`t watching it anyway. What`s for dinner.
a Your favorite. Goya chanpuru. But I`m having a steak. You can have some too, of course.
b Thanks, Shiho.
a How is your new job at the cram school?
b Oh, it doesn`t pay so well, but I like the students. They are fun.
a The extra money helps,  Doug. Thank you. Oh, and our eco-tour business is improving little by little.
b That`s good news.

(4)Two rock group member, Rerek and Stacy are talking about his returning.
a Hey, Derek, check out the poster for the 2025 world tour.
b That`s a cool photo of us. I like the colors. Hey, what`s this?

b It says Featuring the return of Derek Simons.
I asked you not to write that, Stacy.
a I know, but Bill wanted that line on the poster.
b You know that I don`t want to be seen as a returning member.
a I tryed not to put it on there,  but Bill insisted.
b That Bill!

The students were happy not to have homework.

Not surprisingly, Kevin was late.

My comment was aimed not at you, but at Robert. Sorry, I don`t mean to confuse you.
I quit not because I was unhappy. I simply got a better offer somewhere else.
