First story is that two persons are talking about the online party.
a Delek, can you hear me?
b Yes, I can hear you now. It takes a while to learn the functions of this app.
a So, how many people are going to participate in the online party?
b We'll be around 50. But we need to think of an agenda.
a Excuse me, but could I say something here?
I think you're missing the main point.
b And what is that?
a The whole point of the party is to have fun.

key sentence is that excuse me, could I say
something here. I think you're missing the main point.
We use these phrases, when we would like to interrupt a remark softly.

For example.
Excuse me, could I say something here. I think you are giving us too much confusing information.
Can I just jump in for a second?
We only have 30 minutes left, so I suggest we skip the next two items on the agenda.
Sorry to interrupt, but if we don't leave now, we'll miss the last train.

The second story is that two persons are talking about the video of the astronaut's press conference.
a Did you watch the video of the astronauts' press conference I sent you?
b Yes, I did. What's so strange about it?
a Oh, come on. They are obviously covering up the truth.
b Just a minute. Are you saying that they are lying?
a I'm saying they didn't go to Mars.
b It's a historical fact, Bob. You don't actually believe those conspiracy theories, do you?
a They are't conspiracy theories!
b You are kidding me, right?

key sentence is Just a minute. Are you saying they are lying?
We use these phrases, when we would like to interrupt a remark sharply.

For example
Just a minute. Are you implying this article has been plagiarized?
Hang on a minute. I 'm not blaming anybody.
I'm just saying we need to be far more careful in the future.
Before you move on the next point, I'd like to make a couple of commemts.

The third story is that professor Peacock and his student are talking about Atlantis.
a And based on my research, I 've become more and more convinced that.
b Professor Peacock, are you suggesting that Atlantis was real place?
a If I could just finish.
b I mean, what serious scholar believes such nonsence?
Isn't it a bit of a leap?
a Could I ask you to hold any questions until I've finished, OK?
b OK, professor. I have several, which I 'd like you to answer fully.
a Don't worry. I will. Now, where was I?

key sentence is If I could just finish..
We use these phrasis, when we would like to regain a voice softly.

For example, Could I ask you to hold any questions until I've finished?Otherwise, I may well lose my train of thought.
If I could just finish. Now where was I?

The last story is that Master of celemonies and lecturer are talking about Vitamin D.
a And now, Dr. Willson. Do you have something to add?
b Yes. In this countery, most people don't get enough Vitamin D.
a True. It isn't part of our culture to eat foods rich in Vitamin D.
b That's why I'm proposing sending a year's supply of Vitamin-D candy to every family.
a Do you know how much that would cost?
b Just hear me out! You'll have the chance to respond after I've finished, OK?
a Please continue.

key sentence is Just hear me out! You'll have the chance to respond after I've finished, OK?
Please continue.
We use these phrases, when we would like to regain a voice sharply.

For example
Just hear me out. Then maybe you won't jump to conclusions.
Hang on. Just wait until I've made my concluding remarks, will you?

By the way, what kind of disease do we become, if we are lacking in Vitamin D? We could be such disease as rickets, osteoporosis.
On purpose to avoid these disease, we had better eat foods rich in Vitamin D, calcium, and take ultraviolet rays in sunbathing.
