First story is Two persons are talking about a trip to Cambodia.

 

a Hi, pierre. How was your trip to Cambodia?

b Ha!  I didn't even make it there.

a Why?  What happened?

b Well,  I got to the check-in counter only to find out that French citizens need a visa.

a You are kidding. You didn't check before buying your ticket?

b No, I didn't think I would need one for a short sightseeing trip.

a That's too bad. But you 've learned a lesson for future trips.

b Yes, very expensive lesson!

Second story is Two colleagues are talking about their package design character.

 

a Good morning. Where's Rei today?

b She took the morning off. Last night, she stay at work late so she could complete the report.

a But she needs to decide the package design today.

Are we putting a cat or a dog character on it?

b Can you wait till this afternoon?

a Yes, I guess I will have to. She'll probably choose the cat character since she has a cat.

b Yes, I think she will.  It' a cute character.

Third story is Two persons are talking about why one is going to London.

 

a Why are you looking at that fashion magazine?

b I'm going to London to buy some suits.

a But, you never wear a suit.

b I know, but this year I have to attend a lot of events. So I need some new suits.

a Where in London are you going?

b There is a famous area called Savile Row.

a Oh, yes, I've heard of it. Some say that the Japanese word for suit, Sebiro, comes from that place.

a Really?

She must be rich to own such an expensive car.

I have to fill out so many forms in order to get a visa.

We should leave so as to ensure we get good seats.

I'm calling just to let you know about schedule change.

Last story is Two persons are talking about the Omelet.

 

a Wow, that Omelet with rice was really tasty. I love Japanese-style Western food!

b Yes, this restaurant has a long history.

a I would like to try making this dish myself at home. It looks easy.

b It may look easy, but it's really difficult to make the omelet soft.

a I'll watch some videos on the internet and get some hints.

b You'll have to practice a lot, but good luck!

a Thanks! I'll try not to waste too many eggs.
