Today’s speech is a talk from ラジオ英会話.
Topic is the degree of difficulty, risk, importance and rightness.

First story is a daughter and her father are talking about the Chistmass dinner.

a What are you doing with those old notebooks, Dad?
b I'm trying to make a Christmass dinner guest list. It's hard to find people's contact information!
a Don't worry about it. I'll take care of the invitations. The biggest problem is making the dinner.
b Making a traditional Christmass dinner is easy. You liked my Thanksgiving Turkey, didn't you?
b Yes, it was great.

Second story is Houston and Omega are communicating about a problem.

b What sort problem, Omega?
a I 'm getting a red light on the fuel indicator. I'm going to play it safe and shutdown the engine.
b Very well. It's too risky to keep the engine running with a red warning.
a Agreed, Houston.
b We are working on the problem now.
a Roger, Houston.

It's possiblly nothing serious. You had better play it safe and go to the hospital.
There's not much chance of getting pickpocketed. But remain alert.
It's too risky to drive in ice and snow. Let's take the train.

Third story is two persons are talking about painting.

a Bob, how do you paint so quickly? You're really fast.
b Well, it's important to practice painting regularly.
As the saying goes ' Use it or lose it !'
a You don't even look at the thing you're painting!
b Right. It is of great importance to use your imagination.
a But, I don't have a good imagination like you.
b You can develop that too. The important thing is to relax. That really helps.
a OK, I'll give it a try.

b Yes, but it might not be that bad. Forcasts are often wrong. The government doesn't stop GoTo-Travel-Campaign.

b Well, I suppose you are right. Let's wait until the coronavirus situation is better.
