「成長至上」と「脱成長」の狭間の資本主義論

BS1スペシャル 欲望の資本主義2022 成長と分配のジレンマを超えて」の中で、トーマス・セドラチェク氏と斎藤幸平氏によるチェコと東京を結ぶ熱い議論が取り交わされました。

東洋経済オンラインの掲載記事を参考に同意しているところ、意見が異なるところを拾ってみました。

1.共通点
(1)資本主義における所得格差は成長至上主義によりもたらされる。

(2) 米国と欧州では格差の程度が異なる。
欧州の中流階級はサンダース現象にみられる米国ほど貧しくない。

(3)現在の問題は地球環境危機、気候変動である。コロナパンデミックはその前兆。

2.相違点
現状打開方策システムの在り方が異なる。
(1)セドラチェクは資本主義の中で脱成長は可能。斎藤幸平は 不可能。

(2)セドラチェクは地球環境危機は必ずしも体制をかえることでは解決しない。なぜなら、今まで解決策を見つけてきたのは資本主義国。社会主義国の中国はCOPでGreen House Gas 削減に消極的。
斎藤幸平は技術革新による経済成長と環境破壊の切り離し所謂Decoupling(省エネ)はいよいよタイムリミットの今後30年内では解決できない。体制の変更が必要。

(3)資本主義と社会主義の違い
セドラチェクは現在ある程度経済的に余裕がある資本主義国ならば、リーダーが誤りを批判されたら、批判に対してお金を払い、批判を求め、変化をもとめられる。
社会主義国はリーダーを批判できない。
これに対して斎藤幸平は現在の社会主義国を観るのでなく、理想的な社会主義国を前提に(?)
