Hearing content

a So Mike, when you get home in the evening? Like special routines?

b Well, I pretty much do the same thing every night.

a So what's the first thing do you do when you get home?

b The first thing, I always open the windows.

You know I have to keep the windows closed during the day.

So I open them as soon as I walk in the door.

I really like fresh air.

So I open them even though it's cold outside.

And then I take out everything from my pocket. Like my chains, my keys and my wallet.

I put it all on the night stand next to my bed.

a Yes, probablly good idea.

So you don't lose anything.

b Oh, yes, I have to do that before I change my cloth.

If I don't,  my wallet ends up in the laundry.

Right, not good idea.

So yes and then I change my cloth.

I like to put on something comfortable.

Like jeans, short, teeshirt.

You know, get out of my work cloth.

Usually I get on my exercise by. And right on for about half an hour.

I always feel good after I exercise a bit.

a Oh, I know. Shee is that's good.

 I don't exercise enough.

b Then after exercise in, I watch a little TV.

Usually the news. And I relax for about an hour.

Actually forget the part about relaxing.(そのくつろいでいる時間忘れて下さい)

It's usually all bad news. It`s not relaxing at all.

a It's true. So, what's about dinner? Do you cock every night?

b Well, I try to cock something healthy. You know a lot of people just throw something in the microwave. (できあいものをただ電子レンジに入れる)

But I always cock some meat and vegetable. I make a fresh salad.

a That's good.

b Yes, oh but first I usually have to do the dish.

Like before I cock. So I do the dish and clean the kichen. Always I'm tired after dinner. So I always leave the dish in the sink and I don't have time to do them in the morning. I have to be at work by 8.

a Right. So what do you do after dinner?

b Well, I usually sit down and read something and just to relax for a bit.(short time ちょっとくつろぐために)

a So, what time do you get to bed?

b Around 10. I fall asleep right away and don't wake until 6 in the morning.

So that pretty much it.(だいたいそういうことです)The same old thing every evening.(毎晩同じことです)

I don't really go out on week night.

I work so hard during the week. So I only have fun only week end.

Q5 What does Mike take out of his pockets at night? Why?

A5 He takes chains, keys, wallet from his pocket and puts them on the boardl near his bed because so that he doesn't lose them.

(He puts them on the board lest he should lose them)

Q6 When does he do the dishes? Why?

A6 He does it before he cocks dinner. Because he is tired. (He does it because next morning he is busy he has no time to do it)

Q7 How does he feel after he exercises? After he watchs the news?

A7 He feels relaxing when he goes to bed. After watching the news, he cocks.

Q8 What does he do just before he goes to sleep?

A8 He reads something.

key sentence is I think many people have misunderstood the movie, though. It's not meant to be a comedy.

Yes, I wanted to encouradge people to think more deeply about the world around several issues.

You 've misunderstood my explanation.Let me try again.

That' s not what I meant. What I was trying to say is that mistakes are inevitable.

We're obviously not on the same wavelength, so let's just agree to disagree.

Last story is 2 colleagues are talking about pizza dinner.

a Hiroki, the conference ends at 5. It's a Friday night. How about going out afterwards?
