First story is Two colleagues are talking about enjoying doing some writing.

a Good morning, Will. How was your weekend?

b It was fine, thanks.

a Did you do anything special.

b Well, I was finally able to enjoy doing some writing on the  terrace of my favorid cafe.

a Oh, that sounds really exciting!

b It's actually quite relaxing. The hardest part is finding a seat because it's always crowded on weekends.

a That's true. By the way, what do you usually write about?

b I just write whatever comes to my mind.

We're going to Cambodia to see Angkor Wat this summer.

a An important client from France is coming here next Friday. Her name is Marrie Roussau.Yayoi, can you book a good restaurant 

for the evening?

b Sure. No problem. What kind of food does sho like?

a I know she likes Japanese food.

b Would it be OK if I reserved a table at the sushi resraunt in the Hotel New Otani?

a Good idea. The sushi there is excellent.

b How many people should I reserve it for?

a Let's see...eight.

a It's a beautiful island in the Philippines, famous its white sand beaches. 

b Sounds like paradise.

a Yes, I'm looking forward to it. By the way, would you mind watering my plants while I 'm away.

b No problem. But I'll expect a wonderful souvenir.

b Well, you 've already finished the report I asked you fof  so that should be no problem.

a Thanks. It's my daughter's birthday today.

b Oh, how old is she now?

a She just turned seven.

b She's already seven? Are you going to get a cake for her?

a Yes, of course. I'm going to get a cake with lots of fruit.

b Sounds perfect.

I'm sorry to trouble you, but would you mind picking Mom up at the airport? My son says he has a terrible toothache, so I need to take him to the dentist right away. Sirrh, but this is an emergency.
