沖縄のお葬式がにぎやかだという。今の自分があるのはじぶんを産んだおかあさんのおかげ。そのおかあさんはそのまたおかあさんのおかげ。さらに～ご祖先さまのおかげ。おかげさまで今のじぶんがある。ひとはいつかは亡くなるが、故人の命は子孫につながっていく。命は繋っていくので沖縄ではお葬式はにぎやかのほうが故人が喜んでくれるということだ。人間は誰一つ同じ人間はなく大切だ。繋ぐ大切な命は尊重されなければいけない。
子供は大人の行動をみて育つといわれる。仲の良い親を見て子供に親への信頼がうまれるのだろう。だから親は信頼を失うことをしてはいけない。師弟の関係にもそれがいえる。小学生児童を担任した感動をよぶ先生の話がここにある。一学年で高評価だった子供が学年が進むにつれて評価が下がっていった。そこには外見ではわからない家庭の事情があった。担任は親身にその児童をサポートし窮地を脱した。その後児童は医師となり今でも師弟の信頼が続いている。
この本は、重い気持ちを軽くさせてくれるような気がする。
It’s the festival of life every day
The funeral is usually supposed to be sorrowful because people grieve for the dead.
But people in Okinawa get merry with dancing or singing there.
They say you owe what you are to your mother. She did what she was to her mother (your grand mother) .Thus you do what you are to your ancestor.
Sometime you may die, but you can convey your life to your child. Your child can do his life to your his child (your grand child). Thus you can do your life to your descendant.
People in Okinawa think it’s much better to be merry in the funeral because the dead will become be delighted.
There is never anyone whose character is the same. So we should respect the important life which connected for the future.
People say the child grows up to see the back of the parent.
Actually the close parent would bring a child the confidence for the person. Therefore the parent must not lose trust.
That applies to the relation of a teacher and the pupil.
Here is the story of the teacher of an elementalary school causing great impression.
As a school year advanced, the child who has got a high evaluation in first graders lowered that one.
There were domestic circumstances we could not understand by the apperance.
The teacher supported him kindly and in the end he was able to escape from such a bad situation.
Then he became a doctor and they still continue to have a great relationship.
This book seems to reduce the heavy burden when we are worried about something.
